QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in an appropriate mental health discipline and registered with the State of Michigan as a Limited Licensed or Licensed Master’s Social Worker, Temporary or Limited Licensed Psychologist or Limited or Licensed Professional Counselor. Five or more years’ experience providing mental health services and two or more years’ supervisory experience. Must meet the requirements for Child Mental Health Professional.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Supervises the Access Team staff which complete requests for services, maintenance of the call log, initial assessment and hospitalization liaison services.
- Oversee the development of alternative services to provide the least restrictive setting for consumers and follow-up with diverted admissions as appropriate.
- Implements and monitors the team’s clinical practices, efficiencies, and effectiveness and determines the work priorities for the team.
- Provides direct services and completes documentation appropriately.
- Provides clinical guidance to staff.
SUPERVISES: Access Therapists, Access Care Coordinator, Hospital Liaison and Clinical Assistant
